Our Facility

H.S.M. Equestrian Centre boasts just under 400 privately owned acres and miles of trails that branch all the way to the C&O Canal. The space provides a peaceful escape for training, trails, and provides breathtaking scenery. Our amenities include: large indoor with mirrors, outdoor dressage arena, and 2 outdoor jump arenas. We have over 100 acres of pasture and keep our groups small. Our barns have large stalls, tack lockers, wash stalls with hot water, and we also offer laundry on site. Our arenas are large and dragged on a daily basis to ensure proper footing all year.

Pastures

We offer gender-based turnout with herds no larger than 5. Semi-private and private turnouts are also available. Run-in sheds are provided for cover. Our pastures are rotated seasonally so our grass is always lush and plentiful.

Stables

We have 3 barns ranging in stall size. All have tack lockers, wash stalls with hot water, and pine shavings.

Indoor Arena

One of the largest indoors in the area (100'x200') with mirrors, a viewing area, and wonderful dust-free footing.

Jumping Arena

Our bluestone jump arena is always set up for courses, grids, and cavaletti exercises.

Grass Arena

We also offer an outdoor grass jumping arena for eventing and cross country practice.

Dressage Arena

Our full size dressage arena is perfect for practicing tests and movements.

Round Pen

Excellent for training young horses or building your trust and confidence as a partnership.

Trails

We have one of the most extensive trail systems in Montgomery County. We also offer trailer-in opportunities.
